Incorporated in 2004, we were born from a combination of frustration and belief. The frustration that other suppliers were letting customers down and the belief that a truly customer-oriented organisation could add real value by being more than just a product provider.
The decontainer is the gold standard in hospital decontamination. There are numerous benefits to the hospital’s resilience capabilities: throughput of casualties is increased compared to other more traditional decontamination shelters. There are no manual handling requirements, staff training is minimised, patient modesty and comfort issues addressed and time into operation is unrivaled by any other decontamination shelter.” – Allan Cordwell, Emergency Planning Manager / C.B.R.N.E. Tactical Co-ordinator, Penine Acute Trust
Who We Are
GRS was established to be a proud partner primarily to the UK Emergency Services for product supply and development, a partner for ancillary items supporting those products, a partner for the ongoing Service & Maintenance of those products and a training provider to ensure all investments returned the best Resilience capability possible.
From these humble beginnings and underpinning principles, GRS has become the preferred partner to the UK Emergency Services and indeed holds a number of framework agreements including the National Standard for Mass Decontamination through the UK Ambulance Service. More recently GRS has been successful in taking it’s patented SafeFrame shelter range to global markets including major contract wins in Australia (ADF), Malaysia and Taiwan.
Innovation and Quality Assurance
GRS recognises that you depend on our products in a number of ways:
• to be available for deployment 24/7
• to rapidly deploy with reliability
• to provide a near service-free semi-permanent structure for the duration of deployment
It is this dependability that makes GRS products best in class allowing you to focus on delivering your core expertise to the operational situation in hand.
To achieve this reliability, GRS runs an extensive Quality Management System in accordance with the conditions of ISO 9001:2008
This ensures continuous improvement in terms of customer service provision. Since achieving ISO9001 accreditation, GRS Customer Service has been evaluated by external auditors as “Excellent”.
These excellent satisfaction levels can be found in many of the Case Studies which are available as testimony to our quality and dependability credentials, which are so critical for emergency responders.
GRS is also committed to operating a Green Business, promoting sustainability and using environmental accountability as a measure for performance. We are proud to announce our status as an ISO 14001 registered firm.
Product Innovation and Commitment
GRS prides itself on staying at the forefront of our sector, developing innovative designs offering the “optimum” in terms of shelter capacity, deployment time, manpower requirements, weight, pack-down size, durability and of course price.
Naturally many different users have their own perspectives on that “optimum” and GRS has therefore developed a modular range of shelters allowing these features to be tailored to specific requirements.
Mission, Vision and Values
GRS is evolving… Established since 2004 we’ve become the industry experts specialising in rapid deploy shelters across a wide range of customers, and have secured a number of national framework contracts to prestigious organisations such as the UK Department of Health, Australian Defence Force and the Department for International Development.
GRS aims to offer differentiation in solutions provision through manufacture and supply of tents, shelters, temporary structures and associated services to the homeland security, defence, humanitarian and industrial markets.
GRS’s vision is to be a globally recognised solutions provider to homeland security, defence, humanitarian and industrial markets.
We were very pleased with the way that you listened to our requirements and were able to provide us with this all-round solution. We are already discussing buying another unit from the SF range.” – Darren Woodhouse, Operational & Contingency Planning, Bedfordshire Police
